Our History

Where We've Come From

Established in 1999, Greenpoint has developed numerous times over the years in response to the changing times. 
The one thing that has never changed is our customer centered approach.

How it Started

Our owner Alex came from a service driven background where he was judged based on the last service given.  When starting Greenpoint, he was determined to build around this simple ethos of customer first.

Greenpoint Began

Many within the industry denied that a customer centric company could last.

New Office

We opened our Farnborough office, which would soon become known as our head office.

Workshop Built

In a response to an increase in hardware repair requests, we built our own workshop.  This allowed us to provide a considerably faster service and guarantee our work.  Our workshop includes:

Charity Work

Now well established, we began look outward and see where we could help above and beyond the supply of our normal services. We began supplying local charities with free and subsidised services. 
Our staff actively raised money for numerous charities as we continue to do today.

Security Focus

In 2011, in response to a rise in internet security concerns, Greenpoint developed to incorporate a heavy focus on security.  Since this time, we have become a leading expert in security and are currently a Gold Watchguard partner.

Complete Support

The world of IT continues to grow and change.  The requirements of each company and the threats to them change along with them.  Where most of our competitors had chosen to package their services, we decided to continue with our customer centered approach.  Listen to the customer and build a service unique to each one.

Launch into Sussex

In 2019 we opened our sales office in Worthing.  With an increasing number of inquiries coming from within Sussex, we wanted to be closer to our new customers.

Where Next?

Greenpoint is pursuing the prestegous ISO9001 and ISO27001 standards.  These process driven standards have been troublesome to incorporate into our customer centric ethos.  We continue with the struggle, knowing that the rewards for our customers are worth the effort.
